Bloom, the emergence of ecological design
"Bloom, the Emergence of Ecological Design" aired initially on Vermont Public Television and ultimately on serval PBS stations around the country. The series highlighted solutions to the phosphorous runoff problem in the Lake Champlain Basin, and found a national audience as similar problems are occurring throughout the United States. The series received two New England Emmy awards for environmental programming. After the series was broadcast the EPA settled a court case with the state of Vermont requiring a modification to the Total Maximum Daily Load of phosphorous released into Champlain Basin waterways.
